The calculator did away with the abacus. But we didn’t stop doing math.
The automobile did away with the horse carriage, and buggy-whip companies. But it also lead to the $Billion Formula 1 circuit, franchise, fandom, paddle-shifts, carbon fiber and hundreds of engineers.
For the creative, this new wave is an opportunity. You just have to re-think the problem from a different vantage point, find a place to quiet the noise to discover new opportunities. This isn’t ra-ra or cumbiyah, it’s the way the world progresses.
Find your way in it, around it, through it.
-Monk
We spend 12 – 20 years in school learning about every subject, except for money. Then we spend the rest of our lives trying to figure out how to make money or how to grow the money we have.
My approach to financial literacy is to teach it in a way that makes the complexities of finance so simple that your investing actions become instinctive.
To the youth, young adults, and the mothers who raise them,
