Something that was taught to me by a broker friend of mine: look back on your investments and decide whether your position achieved the goal of the purchase or not.
We as humans look back at the year and decide if it was a good year or not – which is why we make New Years resolution to make a change (whether we keep those resolutions is a separate matter).
It seems like a no brainer, but do you take the time to analyze your investments as they relate to your overall goals?
I will end the year with something that was shared with me to ponder:
Laziness stops ambition
Anger stops wisdom
Fear stops dreams
Ego stops growth
Jealousy stops peace
Doubt stops confidence
Now read the paragraph above from right to left.
